The Cycle of Birth, Death, and Rebirth. The principles of the eight are linked to the idea of the eighth - which is periodic renewal, self-renewal, unlimited growth, and "the same but different". All of this refers to the principle of eighth that is, the eighth step is the same as the first, but at a higher level. The perfect example of this is observed in music. There are seven notes on the diatonic scale (the white piano keys). The eighth grade is equal to the first, but in a higher eighth grade a higher level. It is implied by this principle the presence of unlimited growth of spiraling octaves octaves within octaves within octaaves... to infinity the eternal process of transformation "I'm One that turns Two, I'm Two that turns Four, I'm the Four that turns Eight.
