L'oiseau libre

 

Once there was a free bird. She floated in the sky, catching midges for lunch; she swam in the summer rain and was like many other birds. Il était une fois un oiseau libre . Il flottait dans le ciel dégustant des midges pour lunch  But she had a habit: Every time some event occurred in her life, whether good or bad, the bird picked up a stone from the ground. Every day she sorted out her stones, laughed remembering joyful events, and cried remembering the sad ones. Il avait une habitude . A chaque fois qu'un évènement , qu'il soit bon ou mauvais, se présentait dans sa vie ilm ramassait une pierre sur le sol . Chaque jour il les triait et riait en  se souvenant des évènements joyeux ou pleurait en se remémorants les évènements tristes  The bird always took the stones with her, whether she was flying in the sky or walking on the earth; she never forgot about them. The years passed. The free bird collected a lot of stones, but she still kept on sorting them, remembering the past. It was becoming more and more difficult to fly, and one day the bird was unable to do so. L'oiseau emportait les pierres avec lui  qu'il vole dans le ciel ou qu'il marche sur la terre; il ne les oubliait jamais . Les années passèrent . L'oiseau libre avait maintenant récolté beaucoup de pierres mais il continuait à les tier et à se souvenir du passé .  Voler devenait  plus en plus difficile et un jour il ne put plus le faire. The bird that was free some time ago could not walk on the earth; she was unable to make a move on her own. She could not catch midges anymore; only rain gave her the necessary moisture. But the bird bravely endured all the hardships, guarding her precious memories. L'oiseau qui il y a quelque temps était libre ne pouvait plus marcher non plus ; il ne pouvait plus bouger seul. Ne pouvait plus attraper les moustiques ; la pluie seule lui donnait l'humidité requise. Mais l'oiseau endurait toutes ces épreuves , juste pour garder ses précieux souvenirs  After some time the bird died of starvation and thirst. Only a pitiful bunch of worthless stones remained.  Au bout de quelque temps l'oiseau mourut de faim et de soif . Il ne resta qu'un pauvre  tas de pierres inutiles
