Ubuntu (en repensant à hier)

 

“Ubuntu is very difficult to render into a Western language.  It speaks of the very essence of being human…you are generous, you are hospitable, you are friendly, caring and compassionate.  
 You share what you have.  It is to say, ‘My humanity is inextricably bound up in yours’. We belong in a bundle of life.”

Ubuntu est très difficile à traduire dans une langue occidentale. Il exprime l'essence même de l'être humain… vous êtes généreux, hospitalier, amical, attentionné et compatissant.

On partage ce qu'on a. C'est dire : "Mon humanité est inextricablement liée à la tienne." Nous appartenons à un même groupe de vie.
