The two little Pollock sisters, Joanna and Jacqueline, were respectively eleven and six years old when on March 5, 1957 they were hit and killed by a car.
It was later discovered that the driver, a local woman who was under the influence of a variety of drugs, had intentionally hit the girls after being forcibly separated from her own children. The case then made headlines across Britain, with the woman eventually being taken to a psychiatric hospital.
The Pollocks were obviously devastated and took refuge in the hope of being able to have children again, which actually happened on 4 October 1958 when the twins Gillian and Jennifer were born.
The birth of the twins was a great joy that partly alleviated the pain of the loss of the daughters lost so tragically.
However, the parents began to observe some strange things:
Jennifer showed strange signs on her body exactly in the areas where her sister Jacqueline was fatally injured by the car that hit her. She also had a strange white line on her forehead, identical to the scar Jaqueline had gotten after a bicycle fall. Gillian, on the other hand, had a birthmark on her leg identical to Joanna's. This is just the first mystery that no one could explain.
After a couple of years, as soon as the twins started talking, one of the most inexplicable phenomena ever seen occurred. In fact, the little sisters identified all the old toys of their dead sisters by giving the dolls and soft toys the names that their old owners gave them. They even went so far as to describe the old swing used by the sisters and their school. In addition to this, when they began to write, Jennifer demonstrated some difficulty in holding the pencil in her hands, while her sister held it between thumb and forefinger as Joanna did before her death. Jennifer then held her fist closed like her younger sister.
Obviously the parents never mention the tragedy that happened to the deceased sisters, on the contrary! They chose never to mention the fact that they had had two other daughters before them, but the twins remembered more and more details of an apparent previous life and even began to have hysterics when they passed a parked car.
Everything becomes even more incredible if you consider that, following some analyses, it emerges that the two twins are homozygous, that is, perfectly identical. This obviously only makes it even more mysterious to explain the presence of some physical characteristics present on one twin and not on the other.
As the years passed, the two twins lost their memories of their supposed previous life to live a life as normal children. According to her parents, the memories disappeared at age 11, the age at which Joanna's life ended.
If science has not been able to explain the reason for these phenomena, for the parents there is no doubt: it was a case of reincarnation.

Cependant, les parents ont commencé à observer des choses étranges :Jennifer avait sur le corps des signes étranges exactement aux endroits où sa sœur Jacqueline avait été mortellement blessée par la voiture qui l'avait percutée. Elle avait également une étrange ligne blanche sur le front, identique à la cicatrice que Jaqueline avait eue après une chute à vélo. Gillian, quant à elle, avait une tache de naissance sur la jambe identique à celle de Joanna.
Ce n’est que le premier mystère que personne ne pouvait expliquer.Au bout de quelques années, dès que les jumelles ont commencé à parler, i s'est produit l'un des phénomènes les plus inexplicables jamais observés . En effet, les petites sœurs identifiaient tous les vieux jouets de leurs sœurs décédées en donnant aux poupées et peluches les noms que leur donnaient leurs anciennes propriétaires. Elles sont même allées jusqu'à décrire l'ancienne balançoire utilisée par les sœurs et leur école. De plus, lorsqu'elles ont commencé à écrire, Jennifer a démontré une certaine difficulté à tenir le crayon , tandis que sa sœur le tenait entre le pouce et l'index comme le faisait Joanna avant sa mort. Jennifer a alors fermé son poing comme sa sœur cadette.
Evidemment les parents ne mentionnaient jamais le drame arrivé aux sœurs décédées, bien au contraire ! Ils avaient choisi de ne jamais mentionner qu'ils avaient eu deux autres filles avant elles, mais les jumelles se souvenaient de plus en plus de détails d'une apparente vie antérieure et commençaient même à être hystériques lorsqu'elles croisaient une voiture garée.
Tout devint encore plus incroyable si l’on considère que, suite à quelques analyses, il ressort que les deux jumelles sont homozygotes, c’est-à-dire parfaitement identiques. Cela ne fait évidemment que rendre encore plus mystérieuse l’explication de la présence de certaines caractéristiques physiques présentes sur une jumelle et pas sur l’autre.
Au fil des années, les deux jumelles ont perdu les souvenirs de leur prétendue vie antérieure pour vivre une vie d' enfants normale. Selon leurs parents, les souvenirs ont disparu à l'âge de 11 ans, âge auquel la vie de Joanna avait pris fin.
Si la science n’a pas pu expliquer la raison de ces phénomènes, pour les parents il n’y a aucun doute : il s’agit d’un cas de réincarnation.
