Jour 7

 IL est 11h : il fait 34 ici  "feeling 40". Les filles se dorent sur les transats .

Pendant que je les regarde de  (plus) haut ! 

Il est  13h 45 En tuk tuk nous nous sommes rendues au Boom Shankar . Nous sommes RAVI(es) l'espace d'un déjeuner au bord de l'eau  à Colomb Beach 

Les filles sont maintenant sur la jolie plage de Patnem,  la plage la plus proche,  très semblable à celle de Palolem, en moins fréquentée peut-être.

Nous rentrerons pour apprécier le coucher du soleil depuis leur balcon d'un jour avant de diner au Hi-Tide Resort  .

Et moi j'écris au Boom Shankar entourée des bruits de la jungle ( sifflements , babillements  raillements piallements,  pepiements , gazouillements , croassements, vombrissements, aboiements , miaulements, beuglements , gloussements, hurlements, bourdonnements, vombrissement et cris divers ).  Sans fumer toutefois.

Shankar is a name for Shiva, one the 3 main dieties in the Indian pantheon. His dance is the rythm of the world, the beat of the heart, the cycle of day and night. He lives in the Himalayas and lies in the mountains smoking cannabis and his hair flows down from the mountains as the holy river Ganges.

His worhippers include “sadhus” wandering mendicants whose worship includes smoking chillums of hash, so they became very popular with the wandering freak set India.

bom, or boom, bem or bam is a sound — a sharp sound !

Boom Shiva: It is said by sadhus before they light the chillum to :

• sanctify it Shiva
• let Shiva know the chillum is being smoked
• let other sadhus know about the chillum being lighted

Loosely translted as : “OH shiva..I'm smoking a chillum, hey you sadhus come and share it with me” 

Certaines personnes traduisent simplement "Bom Shankar par " la bonne teuf !"
